#VM view – Political Countdown – April 21, 2024

not a pitch report for cricket but elections – ground is ready and players already arrived.. heading towards June 4, 2024

Have been rolling out monthly political commentary for almost a year now and I’m going to end this with results of parliamentary polls in June 2024. The battle is getting hot and the scenario changing very fast. For next three months i.e. till June 2024 on public demand I will be rolling out the weekly countdown, covering the key actions of the leading party (parties if one is willing to accept that there is a contest) and who stands where in run up to the polls

#VM view – India elects a new Parliament in 2024 – seat projection in today’s scenario

Caveat – I am not a qualified psephologist, I carry psephology as a hobby and a passion. I don’t go into the field to carry out my assessment but the number crunching is what I try to do. This is just an assessment basis my own assumptions and data points I have come across on electronic media, some websites and what I’ve observed basis the opinion being expressed by spokespersons across party line

Vm view#VM view – Political Commentary – November 2023

Caveat – I write political commentary because the political analyst in me is refusing to die but I know where to draw the line. Neither I write in favor of one block nor against another. I don’t give a communal angle to my write ups nor do I endorse the views of any one political block

Politics is not my profession and as such the views expressed are independent of my employer’s views and in no way attributable to anyone other than me. Still I write about politics because I have always maintained that even if we are not actively involved in the political process beyond voting, in every manner politics tend to impact us in our day today life and it impacts the economy and markets as well and as such it is pertinent that we do an analysis of what is on and what is not that is going on

#VM_view – Congress – a new President – an attempt to salvage left over or may be a first step in right direction

Off late the party is making right noises – is it an early sign of revival or the last attempt at retaining relevance

Caveat – This is a purely political post and I write about politics only with an intent of providing an objective analysis of environment rather than expressing my allegiance to any political group. If I have chosen to write a political blog, I should be responsible enough to ensure that I present a neutral and objective view, hence this post is to be read independent of my political views without being linked to any political party. Again since this is an assessment of latest developments in Congress, it may look a bit skewed in favor of the party – but as I said, nothing to do with my political allegiance

If some reader finds the write up amateurish or the content already available in other media let me clarify the idea is to keep the language simple to connect with you all and make a submission that I create a write up basis what I read across various electronic print and social media with my own interpretation and assessment. This is not a copyrighted write up and I’m open to any criticism if any reader finds it so.

With due respect to your political views, I seek your feedback and suggestions, whether in form of criticism or appreciation, to further improve and in no way this write up is aimed at demeaning any individual, group, religion or party
